Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse for Apple Mac - Black (910-000673) Review

Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse for Apple Mac - Black (910-000673)
Average Reviews:

After years of faithful reliance on Apple mice I finally became fed up with the continuing need to clean the scroll ball on my wireless Mighty Mouse just to keep it working properly. But choosing a replacement was no easy task. I read tons of mouse reviews and user comments only to conclude that there's no one perfect mouse. Even after I had narrowed my choice down to the Logitech MX Rev Cordless Laser mouse I kept running across just as many user comments slamming it as I did ones praising it.
Well, I went ahead an bought the MX Rev anyway and am very happy that I did. I got the MX Rev for Apple Mac from Amazon and it has made me regret that I stuck with the Mighty Mouse as long as I did. The MX Rev/Mac works beautifully for me. It took me a few days to decide exactly which configuration best suited my needs, but since then it's been smooth sailing all the way. It's by far the best mouse I've ever had in all my years of computing.

Logitech MX Revolution - Mouse - laser - wireless - RF - USB wireless receiver - gloss black Review

Logitech MX Revolution - Mouse - laser - wireless - RF - USB wireless receiver - gloss black
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I payed about $100 for this mouse ... 4 years ago. Now, after years of dropping it, transporting it, and abusing it, my mouse has finally given out. For the first 3 years, things were great. After that, I noticed the battery life had declined a fair bit; I would have to charge it every day or two, as opposed to the entire week I would get when the mouse was new. I had a few problems with the charger base not recognizing the mouse, but a little lubricant (saliva) was enough to fix the contact points. Then, and this was the last straw, the left-click no longer worked. It would often double click or refuse to click-and-drag when I wanted it too.
I'm now looking around for a new mouse - but I'm not getting this one again. Why? I'm just tired of wireless. In the end, I like being able to use my mouse whenever I want, without having to worry about battery life. When I sit down to do computer work, and I realize that I forgot to put my mouse on the charger last night, it makes me wish I had a wired connection so I could ignore this whole battery issue. Still, the mouse worked wonderfully for 3 years, and sputtered along for another 12 months afterwords. Anyone looking for a solid, wireless mouse would be very wise to consider this as a top contender.

Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks - White Review

Logitech V470 Bluetooth Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks - White
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I wanted a mouse for my Macbook that did not require me to plug in a dongle. Therefore, a bluetooth mouse was my obvious choice. I heard about this mouse some months before it was available for purchase. It has bluetooth and laser. I am glad I waited for this mouse - it is great. It does what a mouse should without having to fuss with it or deal with all kinds of uneeded "features". Logitech once again came up with a winner.
It was recognized easily by my Macbook and worked perfectly without having to tweak anything. Contrary to what some reviewers say about laser mice, this mouse is not too sensitive. Scrolling is smooth and accurate. There is a slight delay when the computer starts for bluetooth to recognize the mouse, but this is negligible.
There is an on-off switch to conserve the battery -- very nice! Also, it is white to match my Macbook. I have had this mouse about a week and have not discovered any negatives. I love it.

IOGEAR GME521 5-Button USB Laser Mouse Review

IOGEAR GME521 5-Button USB Laser Mouse
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this mouse based on a glowing review in Network World magazine, in the immortal words of John Lennon, "I shoulda known better".
My hope was the "30x more accurate tracking" would improve my ability to lasso images in photoshop, well not yet anyway. My old Logitech roller seemed to get "stuck" at the most critical moments, the necessary nudge would then send it scooting across the picture. This Iogear Laser is so smooth that the problem is just the opposite. With zero resistance this mouse seems to move by itself at the most critical moments.
I think the problem could be solved with a better mouse control panel. There is simply not enough sensitivity adjustment in the Windoze mouse control to get it right. At the slowest setting it is too sluggish, but one notch up and it becomes too touchy. The Logitech mouse driver allows more fine tuning of the mouse sensitivy and includes an accelerator adjustment.
The potential is there for a great product, if Iogear had included an improved mouse driver instead of relying on the standard Windoze driver, this mouse would rate a perfect 5.

Logitech MX 610 Cordless Laser Mouse (931350-0403) Review

Logitech MX 610 Cordless Laser Mouse (931350-0403)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Ok, I've seen a lot of complaints about the Email and IM buttons on the MX 610. First, I don't see how these buttons should make it or break it for you anyway. If you're looking for a reliable mouse with lots of customization options, then you shouldn't even care about the Email and IM buttons. But, if you are concerned, as some seem to be, then simply download the latest driver, restart your computer and everything should work just fine...that's what I experience anyway. I own my own business and constantly receive email. Let me tell you, the flashing email indicator is a nuisance that I quickly shut off the option and recustomized the button to do something more productive.
I also want to correct another complaint. Someone mentioned you can't customize the Email and IM buttons - that's completely false. You can customize ALL 12-buttons - that's a FACT!
Ok, here's why I gave this mouse 5-stars. The ergonomics of the MX 610 should be the standard for all right-handed mice, it just feels natural in your hand. The weight with the AA batteries installed gives it a solid feel. 12-button customization makes my computer tasks so much faster and simpler. I do a lot of copy/pasting, minimizing/switching multiple windows, referencing key websites, and the MX 610 does it all! I use 2 easy to reach buttons for the copy/paste features, I use the middle wheel button to minimize my windows, I use the left/right motion of the center wheel for switching windows quickly, and even have a button that pulls up a customized window (that I created with the included software) that I can select programs and websites from! Anyone that gives the MX 610 a low score is simply not using this mouse for productive purposes, or simply doesn't understand how to customize it to fit your needs and style.
One last thing: I have a lot of wireless products nearby and this mouse hasn't hickuped yet. The wireless technology in the MX 610 is superior and I can see why Logitech focuses it's media attention on it.

Logitech MX 400 Performance Laser Mouse Review

Logitech MX 400 Performance Laser Mouse
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Assuming you're right-handed, MX400 is a very comfortable mouse - but you have to give it one to two days to really fit in with your hand and to find your optimum holding pattern. The overall build quality, scrolling, glide, placement of back/forward buttons, cable, clicking, amazing tracking...everything's absolutely great about this mouse, including the 5-year warranty. Over several months of constant use, the scroll wheel misbehaved only once, and just a puff of compressed air corrected the problem.
As the laser optics used in this mouse is invisible to human eye, it makes a nice touch to your desktop or laptop setup, like a natural extension of the setup.
The optical engine is 1100 dpi, it is laser (a lot less picky about the tracking surface), has tilt wheel, and the buttons require just the right amount of clicking to activate and they have nice tactile feedback. Like all Logitech mice, it suffers from the SetPoint drivers' bloat, but if you're willing to let go of the tilt wheel, you don't need to install anything at all, just plug in the mouse and in Windows XP, all those back/forward buttons are automatically recognized. If you're short on USB ports, there's a PS/2 adapter so you can use your computer's mouse port (that green port that has been sitting empty until now).
One interesting information about this mouse: its wireless big brother, MX610, has a symmetrical version for southpaws. Beware though, MX610 series suffers from hit-or-miss tracking problems. For that reason, you might be able to find ridiculous deals at your local Staples/BestBuy/Fry's for a MX610, but the southpaw version is very hard to find in a brick&mortar store.
My friends call me a mouse freak...and I've tried nearly 75% of the MS and Logitech offerings. I can tell you that this MX400 is my day-to-day mouse, and it seems it will stay that way for a long time. Hope you'll like it as much as I do.

Logitech MX1000 Laser Cordless Mouse Review

Logitech MX1000 Laser Cordless Mouse

Up until now, I've always used Microsoft mice (and wired ones, at that). I've been trying to replace my old Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer because it was generating spurious mouse-clicks. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a local, wired, version of that mouse. So, in desperation, I bought this Logitech MX1000 Laser Cordless Mouse. I was very surprised that I liked it. It's about the same size and heft as my old Intellimouse, and I don't have to mess with a cord. Its tracking seems to be dead on. I've tested it on my old, black, somewhat fuzzy mouse pad, various parts of my desk, different types of paper, and my tummy. It's worked perfectly in all cases. The only things I can characterize as being negative are that 1) I had to remap the Back and Forward buttons to ALT+Left Arrow and ALT+Right Arrow so that those buttons would work properly in Mozilla Firefox (my browser), and 2) I wish the charging base got its power via the USB connection instead of from yet another power transformer.
After another reviewer mentioned it here, I did notice that the "scrolling focus" behaves differently in different applications. In my case, Internet browsing is probably where I'd see that the most. But, Mozilla Firefox behaves "properly." So, I'm ok. Since this behavior depends on the application, I'm guessing that it's a difference in how the applications are coded and not something to do with the mouse. Purely conjecture, though.
Again, surprisingly, I highly recommend this mouse.

SteelSeries Xai High Performance Laser Gaming Mouse (Black) Review

SteelSeries Xai High Performance Laser Gaming Mouse (Black)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I am a big fan of ambidextrous mouse, and Xai is a great replacement for the Logitech G3 that I've used for a long time.
Pluses:
- very smooth tracking and movement
- mouse settings mostly configurable thru the LCD and without driver
- 4 side buttons that are customizable, including macros (using driver software)
- customization is stored on-board, up to 5 profiles, so no need to have driver software on all your computers
- Can be comfortably used for both claw/palm grip
- Has rubber coating that feels very nice and comfortable to the touch
- Buttons are well built and nice clicks with good feedbacks yet not too firm
- Good quality teflon feet for gliding
Possible cons that I don't mind:
- some may say the middle wheel is too stiff to scroll
- some may get annoyed by the placement of side buttons, though I find them well placed and un-obtrusive.
Cons:
- Slightly buggy on firmware upgrade**
**When I ran the firmware upgrade, it returned an error message warning that the firmware has NOT been upgraded. After which, the mouse becomes irresponsive. Un-plugging and re-plugging in the mouse makes it work again and the software says the firmware is up-to-date. Weird. It did scare me that I may have "bricked" the mouse for a moment. Knock off one star.

Logitech G9 Laser Mouse Review

Logitech G9 Laser Mouse
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've been a Logitech gaming-mouse user/lover for a long time. In fact, the last four mice I've used with my gaming rig have been the MX510 (Blue), MX518, G5 (1st version) and now the G9.
The G9 is the perfect combination of the old G5 (precision, accuracy and on-the-fly resolution adjustments) and the MX revolution (with that killer mouse wheel), stuffed into in a customizable, comfortable and easy to control form factor.
Pros:
-I really like the new weight style much better than the G5. The weight "tray" is hidden under the grip so there is no way it can just pop out like on the previous generation mouse. For me, a properly weighted mouse is key in FPS. Too light and you are all over the screen. Too heavy and you are too late.
-Not only can you change the weights, but you can also change the grips to suit your playing style and the color of the LED indicators. I prefer the Wide Load grip for my big hands and the blue LEDs to match my Microsoft Reclusa Gaming Keyboard (Black).
-As long as you are a "righty", it's very comfortable, even after some marathoning. Like all previous Logitech mice I've owned, ergonomics and comfort are never lost in the design.
-Another great addition is the ability to save up to 5 profiles to the mouse's internal memory. No drivers or software needed to load up your custom mouse settings. There is a switch on the bottom that lets you toggle through your profiles. Perfect for LAN parties when you might not be gaming on your own rig.
-Scrolling with the Micro Gear is a blast when not gaming. There is a switch under the mouse that lets you toggle between what I call the "click" mode (a must for weapon changing in FPS) and the "scroll" mode (a must for scrolling web pages and long documents).
-The gaming-feet surface is much improved. I use this mouse with a SteelSeries SteelPad QcK+ mouse pad and it is smooth as butter. I eventually plan on moving to a solid surface pad as I've heard they can improve accuracy with less friction.
-There are two thumb buttons on the left side. I know this was added to newer model G5 (my older version didn't have this) and it's a warm welcome. These are a must for forward/back functionality when you browse the web.
Cons:
-The Setpoint software is a little flaky. I chalk this up to being an early release. It took a couple reinstalls to finally get it to work correctly. Its possible previous software versions on my PC caused this issue. Everything works now.
-I can't use my wrist pad with this mouse. I know it sounds weird, but the back of the mouse isn't as long as the G5 and it slopes downward in a way that forces your wrist to touch your mouse pad. Because of this, it works best without an elevated wrist pad behind it. If you do try to elevate your wrist/forearm, it can be pretty uncomfortable. No biggie, I'll make due.
- $100 price. Ouch, but I've gotta have the latest and greatest.
So there you have it. I'll update this review as I put it through more testing.
Be sure to check out the customer photos section. I took some photos of the G9 side-by-side with my old G5. Enjoy!

Logitech MediaPlay Cordless Mouse- Blue Review

Logitech MediaPlay Cordless Mouse- Blue
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is just great!
Everything worked as was promised. I do not know why other people are having complaints. I have Windows 2000 SP4.
Before installing the software, left-click, right-click, scroll-wheel, and internet back and next buttons worked.
I installed the software manually (just cancel the installer that comes when you insert the CD, or press and hold shift key when inserting the CD):
1. Installed Setpoint 2.22 (latest) (Logitech.com)
2. MediaLife software from the Logitech CD (\Programs\3-MediaLife\Setup.exe)
Did not install any other thing that was on the CD. It has a load of stuff that looked scary.
Everything worked fine. Media buttons all worked fine. Internet Back/Forward buttons still work (one review complaints that it did not after intalling the software).
One review complaint that "Mute" button is missing from the mouse. Well, "Pause" button does exist and works. Besides, volume buttons exist and work fine, you can just lower the volume!
Pros:
- Great shape and size.
- Functionality is unbeatable. Mediaplay functions are great.
- Controls several media players, I tested Winamp 5, MediaLife.
- USB receiver to be plugged behind the computer is small.
- Comes with all stuff you may need to use the mouse:
---- USB-to-PS/2 convertor plug
---- USB extension cable to be used if not enough signal.
- Installation instructions are trivial. So was the installation!
- Mouse looks great. Has lighted media keys which look great.
Cons:
- Boy, there is really none!
- One minor thing, all logitech drivers are somehow 50MB stuff. Webcam driver was also like that. So is the mouse driver. But nevertheless, the software did NOT slow the computer down.
- MediaLife software "looks" good and works fine. Bad thing is that you cannot specify your own music directories, it will only "search" your hard-disk for music. They don't understand that hard-disks are delicate!! Anyway, I'll just use my Winamp.
Other good features which not advertized clearly:
- It's optical. Word "optical" was not clearly mentioned.
- There is an on/off button to save batteries.
- Forward/Back buttons can be interchanged via software so that you can choose the setting that is easier on your thumb. I use only back and not forward!
I am impressed.
One complaint (not about this mouse). They do not sell cordless keyboard without a mouse, and do not sell mediaplay mouse with a cordless keyboard!

Saitek PM42 Cyborg 3200 dpi Laser Mouse Review

Saitek PM42 Cyborg 3200 dpi Laser Mouse
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I was really excited about getting this mouse when I first heard of it. I mainly wanted it to use the thumb hat for movement in games. I got mine but within just a couple of hours the left direction on the hat lost its "click". I had to press hard on it to get it to respond, which of course ruined the ergonomics of the thing.
I was assured this was an isolated case though and thanks to Amazon's great replacement policy I soon had a new mouse to play with. This one lasted a while longer, about two weeks, but then it developed the exact same problem. I have to come to the conclusion that the hat buttons just can't stand up to extended use. I'm very disappointed because I've owned Saitek joysticks and throttles for many years and never had a problem with them.
Other than that problem the mouse is decent. The expanding size function is a neat trick and can help the mouse fit better in your hand. The programming software is really powerful and I like having multiple profiles, as well as being able to switch button functions between 3 sets with one button press. But ultimately I can't have a mouse whose buttons stop working after a short time. Especially when my years-old MX 1000 performs exactly the same as the day I bought it.

Logitech V550 Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks Review

Logitech V550 Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks
Average Reviews:

Many of you probably are deciding between the VX nano and this V550 for your notebook (or like me own a bunch of both). My overall preference is the VX nano even though it is more expensive, because it feels better in the hand and seems to have better built quality. Here are the differences:
VX nano:
- more curved back, fits my small hands better
- AAA batteries, still lasts forever
- more buttons on the left side (never really use them)
- slightly lighter
- compact and convenient battery door
V550:
- more flat back and slightly longer
- AA batteries, thus REALLY long life
- only one extra button below the scroll wheel
- slightly heavier
- the entire bottom casing pops off, is more plastic-y and i'm afraid i may snap it in half one of these days.
- has a stick-on button so you can hang this thing from various things like your laptop
Both have the awesome nano receiver, laser tracking, and storage of the nano receiver inside the mouse itself when not in use. Both are small and notebook sized. Both have a patented flywheel which changes type when you press it. Both have a light that indicates connection and battery low.
Your choice.

Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 Review

Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Overview:
I use this mouse at work where I do software development. The mouse is nothing exceptional when taking into consideration a Logitech mouse at the same price point. The MS Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 offers slightly more and no less than previous MS Explorer offerings. From a functional standpoint, this is a good thing. Ergonomically sound and as responsive as a wired counterpart, this mouse does well tracking on a mouse pad or table top but does have some trouble with a white reflective surface. I have not played any games with this mouse so I cannot attest to it responsiveness on that extreme but for everyday usage, it is beyond what is needed. The resolution of the mouse is excellent even on a fast setting. The range of the mouse is about 6ft which is fine if the mouse stays in front of the computer but does not work when across the room. This may be a problem for some but the mouse is never further than 1 ft from the receiver for me. Loses a star for having a shorter range which may be the reason you will not find the range advertised on the box.
Pros:
- smooth scroll wheel
- responsive and precise
- ergonomic
Cons:
- 6ft range vs. Logitech 32ft, this is not the mouse to use for a media center across the room
- difficult to click scoll wheel and small side button

Work and play faster and more comfortably with the Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000. The freedom of wireless, along with high-definition laser technology, a magnifier function, great battery life, and an intelligent tracking system, makes the Laser Mouse 6000 one of the most advanced mice you can buy. Navigate Web pages and documents more quickly, and easily enlarge and edit details.
With the Wireless Laser Mouse 6000, you'll also enjoy great comfort, thanks to an innovative ergonomic design that's made to cut down on hand fatigue. And because style is important, too, the mouse features a sophisticated finish and fetching industrial design. What's more, customizable buttons let you assign your favorite functions to the button of your choice.
Microsoft High-Definition Technology Whether you're working on a document, perusing a Web page, or playing the latest video game, you can enhance your performance with the Wireless Laser Mouse 6000's high-definition technology. It delivers more precision and responsiveness, while offering smoother tracking on more surfaces than ever before. To put it simply, it's the most advanced tracking system available.
Go Wireless Free yourself from the hassle of tangled wires with Microsoft's wireless technology. It's simple: the mouse transmits information directly to a receiver that's plugged into your computer. Smart power-saving technologies give your wireless mouse and keyboard unprecedented battery life, which means you'll enjoy more than six months of uninterrupted functionality. Meanwhile, Microsoft Smart Receiver software reduces the likelihood of interference with other wireless signals.
Magnify The Magnifier function on Microsoft mouse products is like a magnifying glass that is held up to your computer screen. With a simple press and hold motion, the Magnifier enlarges the area of your screen that fits inside the lens. You can easily adjust both the size of the lens and the level of its magnification. You can even use it when you touch up your photos or handle other detailed tasks. The Magnifier works in most programs.
Note that the Magnifier is not compatible with Direct3D API in full screen mode, media players, OpenGL, and layered windows. If you are using Mac OS X, the Magnifier enlarges text and images on the entire screen.
Longer Battery Life Spend more time working wirelessly and less time searching for new batteries. Microsoft's breakthrough power-saving technology extends battery life, so you can get more done with less hassle. Microsoft wireless mouse products automatically enter standby mode when inactive for a certain length of time, which minimizes unnecessary battery drain. In addition, the light in the mouse's optical sensor illuminates only as brightly as is necessary to provide optimal tracking power.
Full Tilt Scroll up and down and side to side more smoothly, efficiently, and easily with the innovative four-way tilt wheel. It's simply a more efficient way to navigate documents, spreadsheets, and Web pages. The entire scroll wheel tilts from side to side, acts as a button, and reacts to how quickly you roll the wheel to enable smooth, accurate maneuverability. For example, if you're working with a super-wide worksheet, you can tilt the wheel from side to side to scroll right and left, without clicking tiny scroll arrows.

Logitech Bluetooth Mouse M555b Review

Logitech Bluetooth Mouse M555b
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've been using the Logitech Nano mouse with tiny USB dongle for some time and love the friction-free scroll wheel. The only problem is that my notebook only has two USB ports and sometimes I need both for something other than the mouse (and some devices don't seem to function correctly through a USB hub). So I've wanted a Bluetooth version of the Nano for quite some time. The M555b combines the two features I "needed" into one unit and I've been pretty happy with it so far.
The M555b has one programmable button just behind the scroll wheel, similar to the Nano, but not the other two extra buttons. Not a problem for me since I tend not to use the additional buttons, but it should be pointed out for those who do. The M555b wheel still has side-to-side scroll functionality. I wish they had kept the shape and design of the Nano in this new mouse since I prefer that style and feel. The M555b looks and feels somewhat "cheap" by comparison. That's just a matter of preference however... your results may vary. Also, the M555b doesn't come with a protective mouse sleeve for transport, like my Nano did. For the price of this mouse, you'd think they could throw that in.
Another thing I don't care for on the M555b is the battery cover. To access, you hold the mouse upside down, press a button at the back of the mouse, and lift the bottom off the mouse. It just seems more awkward than having a little trap door cover on the bottom, but that's also a preference issue... doesn't really get in the way of usability.
At one point, just a few days into using the mouse, it stopped communicating with my computer and I figured the (included) alkaline starter batteries had lost charge. I tried several other sets of regular and rechargeable batteries. Also tried redoing the Bluetooth connection, etc., with no luck. I decided to return it as defective, but when I tried again the next day it started working and has been fine ever since. Don't know what the problem was, but the hiccup seems to have gone away.
As with other Bluetooth mice, this one has a touch of lag on occasion, especially if it's been sitting for a few minutes without moving. Overall, it doesn't seem as bad as other Bluetooth mice I've used, but I wouldn't recommend this for gamers or people who demand ultra precision and responsiveness. With general use, it probably won't be an issue.
If you need several programmable buttons, look elsewhere. Check a local store to see if you like the style and feel of this before buying since it's rather plain-looking. Overall, I give the M555b good ratings because it gives back a USB port while keeping the free-wheeling scroll, which I'd be hard pressed to do without now (great feature!).

Dynex DX-WLMSE Wireless Optical Mouse Review

As far as the operational aspect of the mouse, it's great. Battery life is very good. I never turn it off and I might change out the batteries once every two or three months. It's very accurate. I don't know what some of the other reviewers are talking about saying that this mouse doesn't work completely with FireFox. That's false. I am on FireFox right now and the scroll works fine, the left side button pages back, and the right side button pages forward. Never had a problem with it not working.
I would have given this wireless, optical mouse 5 stars except after owning it for a year, the comfort pads on either side of the mouse have some sticky glue trickling out. It's coming through the seams where the pad meets the plastic and gets on my fingers. It's extremely annoying and even though I wipe it away, more comes out after a short while. Maybe the glue is just getting old and unsolidifying. Who knows?
Anyway, other than the glue thing this is definitely a solid mouse that competes with the more expensive brand-named ones.

Logitech G5 Laser Mouse (Blue/Black) Review

Logitech G5 Laser Mouse (Blue/Black)

This is a very nice and well built mouse. As soon as you use it, you can tell that it's very well made. The new surface used on this model is very nice, non slip and does not attract fingerprints, unlike the earlier 6 button version of the G5
The option of changing the weight of the mouse seems gimmicky at first, but as soon as you start to experiment with the weights, you'll see that it's actually quite usefull.
The mouse tracks very well and the on-the-fly DPI changing works flawlessly. Also it glides very nicely which is even more emphasized when using a good mouse pad.
The reason I gave this mouse 4 instead of 5 stars is simply that the shape of the mouse will not suite every gamer. It is an awesome device for anyone using a palm or finger grip on their mouse, but someone (like me) that prefers the claw grip, mainly used in FPS games will find it a bit uncomfortable. You can get used to it though.
Also, the scroll wheel is a bit annoying. It would be better if it was a little wider and didn't have this utterly useless side scrolling function, which makes it a bit awkward to depress it.
All in all this is a great gaming mouse that is worth the money it costs. Every angle of it screams quality.
Just try and take it for a "test drive" before you buy it so you can make sure it's comfortable to you.

I think I really got a big bang for my buck with this mouse. I like the weight and the pads on the bottom really make my the mouse glide effortlessly. The dpi settings are easy to change on the fly and the turbo-like button is a great addition itself. It is hard for me to believe how much better my fps gaming skills have gotten thanks to this mouse. I have no real cons for this device but there was a issue with the bundled disc that came with my mouse it's one of those smaller cd-roms but my two disc drives couldn't read it so I had to go to their website which was probably a better idea to get more up to date drivers.
