xp professional, even though the intel faq says it does. The intel customer support says that there are major problmes with the mouse, keyboard and gamepad (they only list the minor problems on there compatibility faq)), they dont bother to tell you that they do not work at all on many peoples xp professional
However if you have 98,me,xp home, or 2000 professional(wow 2000 pro and not xp pro) then buy this product, it is an awesome gamepad and can function as a mouse that doesnt even need a surface to use.

(More customer reviews)I bought two of these wheels last month and I'm about to order 2 more (I'm setting up a little company picnic racing rally). I played Midnight Run II (windows) with these wheels and didn't experience the force feedback either. However, when I played NASCAR 3 with these wheels, then I got vibrations in the steering wheel when taking turns too tight, but nothing when bumping the wall or another car. The force feedback amounts to a 'humming' vibration and is actually annoying. btw - there's an option in NASCAR 3 you have to turn on for the force feedback to work. The force feedback was just a 'nice' feature for me, but I really got it for the USB connection and table top design. I have a couple of the Interact V3 racing wheels and their 'sit nestled between your legs' design is awkward to deal with and it's too tall to effectively use them on a table. But the LogiTech wheels work great on a table top! The LogiTech connectors are a little more reliable too. The pin connector housing on the V3 snapped off pretty easily on one of the wheels. However, I do prefer V3's full size pedals to the LogiTech smaller pedals... but it's satisfactory.

(More customer reviews)When my father told me about he bought a new joystick for me I was wondering a Force feedback II or PRO... but it was a saytek cyborg evo..I got a little dissapointed because i wanted one of the Microsoft joysticks but when i started testing the joy in order to know if it was good or bad my first thougt was "this thing is great" it is comfortable it has enough buttons to configure almost all important functions that u use in a game like Combat flight simulator 1 2 or 3 or other combat sims the twist gives u a total control of the rudder (very important thing in this kind of games) I dont have any problems with the joy...I read some opinions here about some ppl saying that with this joystick there is a bug that make the planes go to the left I think that it is not a bug, anytime that u take off with any joystick if u r playing a realistic sim ur plane will go to the left because the propellors, This also occurs on real planes u need to move the rudder to the right in order to correct this in the take of... in few words im happy with this joystick, the only thing that I think could make this joystick better is Feedback or rumble.. I dont know exactly the expression in english but the thing that give u the sensation of holes in the runaway and turbulence in the air. Sorry about my english ppl but is not my mother language.

(More customer reviews)This gamepad is a no-brainer. For under $10, you get a gamepad that you can just plug in, and it works, first try, with Windows XP... which is exactly what I wanted. No drivers, no hassles! The D-Pad seems much improved over previous versions, and is 3x better than the very-hard-to-use D-Pad on my (original) Wingman Rumblepad. It has 8 buttons that work when you press them. The overall size of the gamepad is a bit smaller than some of the other models, and it works perfectly for my 6-yr-old. The USB cable is a bit longer than the other gamepads I've used, which is a plus.
The only thing I see that could be improved is to include the 2 extra buttons (Start and Select), which would have made it exactly like the Gravis Gamepad Pro. Some games like to have to two extra buttons, but most will let you just use the computer keyboard for those features (pause the game, go back to the menu, etc.).
All in all, you can't lose with this gamepad... order 2 or 3 and get everyone in on the game!

(More customer reviews)Before I commend Gravis, I must thank sony for making such a great playstation controller. And thank you gravis for making the same controller for the pc. Although the controller is small, it fits perfectly in my hand. The is an 8 Axis control pad on the left, select and start buttons in the middle and 4 buttons on the right. At the top there are 4 more button. Another great thing about the controller is that the buttons are not mushy. You can press the easily not like the real playstation controller. The manual has instructions and troubleshooting techniques for installing in different languages. The keyset program, Xperience is bundled on the CD with documentation for that software on the CD. Although a little tricky to program, the keyset software works great. So if you have a playstation or you play alot of playstation games and you need a pad for the PC, this is definitaly for you. For everyone else, its a great cost effective pad. Also, some games like Fifa 2000 would us the same button setup like on the playstation if you use this pad.

(More customer reviews)It's no secret that this gamepad does NOT really look anything like the controllers used for the old consoles, (NES, SNES, etc.)
That said - this is a GREAT, affordable game controller for the classics. This controller feels quite solid even though it is SUPER-light weight. The buttons (including the D-pad) are very responsive. The D-pad is the directional control pad on the controller by the way.
The only slight flaw to this controller can be EASILY overcome with some thought. See, this controller has NO designated start and select buttons. I simply assigned two of the trigger keys on the top of the controller to act as the start and select keys inside my emulator's settings. Works perfect for me!
In conclusion - this is NOT AT ALL for serious (modern) gamers. It does NOT have force feedback, dual shock, or any of those (worthless to me) features. But if you are looking for a comfortable, easy-to-use controller for your classic games and emulators, but don't want to pay big money for the modified authentic controllers out there - BUY AT LEAST A COUPLE OF THESE great little works of affordable tech.
By the way - I OWN legal copies of ALL of the games that I play using emulators. I just can't get the consoles to work any more after YEARS of extensive game play.

This device is also passive when you have another keyboard hooked to it. type normally on your keyboard or strike a key on the Xkeys for input. You may daisy chain multiple PS/2 Xkeys together for even more keyboard fun.
This is an excellent input device for gamers. I also use it for several usernames and passwords that I frequently use. I have no issues with text input speed and don't forget you can program tab and enter to automate those logins.
This device has a USB to PS/2 adapter available for backup/editing of your xkeys but as of this writing the adapter is out of stock.

(More customer reviews)Like many of you, I have been using a regular keyboard for years ever since games required you to use the arrow keys. Playing COD, many people are good just using the keyboard, but I wanted an edge. I got this gamepad after trying the wolf king gamepad. That thing is too big and too many buttons to use. So I returned it and got this one.
The best thing about this game pad is there is no software required and Windows recognizes like nothing else. All the buttons are programmable within the game(s). There are 2 side buttons that when pressed have a blue lcd lights shining. These are mainly for show as the ganepad does not have back lit key lighting. The WASD keys are big. The one difference you will notice is that the keys on the keyboard and the buttons on the game pad. Since the the keyboard's keys are all the same size and the game pad have a bigger WASD, you may have to re customize some of the keys within your game...I normally use (when using a keyboard) the c to crouch. I changed that to the X for the gamepad and got used to it very quicky.
Another great feature is the wrist pad that is attached. It helps with long sessions of gaming. The only thing bad I can say is that after 3 days the lights started going out on the game pad. Cyber Snipa has a great policy from the date of purchase you have 1 year and they will replace it. I emailed them and they sent me a replacement. The one had the lights working, but then 1 light on the side would not work...No big deal, but I contacted them again and they sent me a new one...The new one had the lights working, but when plugged into the usb and turning on the pc, it would not boot up all the way and I had to unplug the game pad for the pc to boot up and plug in the gamepad back in. That was annoying. So I sent back the 2 I received and kept the original...
Pros....best thing ever.
Will take about a week to get used to, but then you will not be able to go back to a normal keyboard...Trust me this is a major plus.
Great wrist pad
Buttons feel natural
Cons....Lights may go out
If you want the edge and people who used to beat you all the time start to question you and even accuse of you cheating (which I take as a compliment), don't hesitate, get this, you will not be sorry.

Belkin n52te Tournament Edition SpeedPad Review

(More customer reviews)You'll find plenty of negative reviews about this little guy anywhere you look. I took all the negative points very seriously (there are a lot of very valid points) and decided not to buy it. However, I saw it at bestbuy a few days ago and man, I kind of drooled a little. Looks even better in person, so I thought what the heck, if I really don't like it I'll just return it and make up a story about bogus Mac software (which works impressively well, by the way. Not at all like your typical Razer software).
Its important to note that I never used the original n52, but I couldn't be happier with the n52te. Firstly, The spacebar isn't giving me the problems I was expecting. I see what people are talking about, when they mention not being able to hit it on the edges, but hitting the space bar at the far ends feels uncomfortable and unnatural to me anyways. I haven't hit space bar without it registering unless I try to get it to miss. I thought I'd have to pop the key off and put something in there to make it a little more stable, but it's really just fine the way it is.
The thumb stick comes off to reveal a d-pad, which I prefer. The small hole in the middle isn't a problem for me now and I don't see it being a problem later on.
I spent two days away from WoW just getting my macros in perfect order, and I honestly can't imagine needing more than is available with the n52te. Sure there are only 3 KeyMaps, where the original apparanly had 4, but I think I've got more than I could handle anyway.
There are blue, red, and green lights under the spacebar to let you know, out of the corner of your eye, which keymap is currently active. Very helpful, but these three lights are way too bright, in my opinion. I put a few layers of tape over them. Problem solved.
I'm just writing this to encourage folks not to give up hope, if you were initially really excited about this and swayed by all the negatives. I'll honor all the negative reviews and assume that if you're already accustomed to the original n52, you'll probably be disappointed. For everyone else, I really recommend you give it a shot. This thing works very well. Its made of quality materials, its comfortable, and dead sexy to boot. Looks incredible next to my blue DeathAdder. Five stars, absolutely.

Razer Nostromo Gaming Keypad (RZ07-00490100-R3) Review

(More customer reviews)I've had a Nostromo for years when it was still being manufactured by Belkin. They sold it Razer a while back and stopped driver support for the N52 which became a issue for me under Win7, so I figured since I liked the Death Adder mouse and Tarantula keyboard so much, surely their take on the Nostromo would be golden. It is...mostly, but they did fall short of a perfect redraft of the N52.
First, the software that comes bundled with the Razer Nostromo is very good, very solid and stable, and IMO better than what Belkin had going with their profiler. The Nostromo's profiler software under Belkin was good and easy to use, very intuitive on most levels as far as programming macros and keystrokes were concerned, and allowed you to set up 3 keymaps with page flipping fairly easily. The Razer version has the same ease of use, but is smoother and cleaner with its layout, it enables far smoother profile changes even within a game to other game set ups, something the Belkin version couldn't, and has 8 keymap options compared to Belkin's 3.
However, when I first got it, I was very annoyed with the device, because the thumb directional pad had this knob sticking up from the center that significantly interfered with my use of it as a directional movement button. It was intended to be a thumb joystick, but its responsiveness was abysmal, enough so that I regretted buying Razer's Nostromo and seriously considered taking it back. Then I discovered after a few days after seriously considering taking a Dremel to it, that it was removable and the thumb button's slightly dipped design was much more natural. It is however, not as good as Belkin's original, and for the same reason that the other thumb button at the base isn't as good as the original, they're both too tall and have as a result, too much depth of depression requirement. The amount of effort required to engage these buttons is thus unnatural and interefers with response time and often you think you're engaging it with enough pressure and you're not.
In contrast, the keys on the keypad are excellent, the texture of the buttons, the lighting, and the amount of distance that your finger has to depress them is all spot on and natural in the amount of effort and response, which is why it gets so annoying when you use the directional pad and thumb button, the depth and pressure required on both is very unnatural in comparison to the rest of the keypad. Were it not for the design of the two thumb buttons, this would get 5 stars from me. Considering how much effort Razer puts into their products otherwise, I have to admit I'm very taken aback at the change in the design they pursued for their version of this keypad, Belkin's was perfect and all 3 variations that I possessed up till having to retire my N52, the thumb buttons required but light pressure and very little depth to engage, it was natural and I never missed a keystroke with them. Using Razer's nostromo, I frequently have to pay far more attention to the device and making sure the directional or the bottom bar engage, and it has cost me more than a few matches as a result. Considering Razer bills itself as "By Gamers, for Gamers", I have to wonder what got into them when they picked up the rights for the Nostromo and then dropped the ball like that.
Wondering if it was just me, I had given my old one to a friend who still runs a XP operating system, under which the drivers and the profiler work without any issue, and he can't believe how much its changed his gaming experience, both from a enjoyment perspective and a effective improvement in his performance. I asked him to play his WoW and DCUO character with my rig, which his is very similar to, Nostromo on the left, keyboard center, mouse right, for most games, you barely touch the keyboard with this setup once you got your nostromo's profile and macros set up the way you want. He immediately commented on the thumb buttons, saying they felt unnatural and required more effort than the Belkin's, and I hadn't said a word to him about my annoyance with those two features. He played for a while a couple of pvp matches in both games, and in every match, he gripped about the movement pad and the base thumb switch taking way too much effort to engage, as he said it "I have to mash the button instead of tap it, what the hell were they thinking?"
