(More customer reviews)I have a Mac and use GarageBand to record songs unprofessionally. However, this cable is so bad that I really can't even use it for that. It makes a prominently audible high-pitched noise the whole time it is plugged into the computer. Completely useless unless you care absolutely nothing about your sound. BTW this is actually the second such cable I've bought, the first worked great, but I lost it in a move recently (hence this abominable purchase). Unfortunately I cannot remember the brand and nothing looks familiar when I browse Amazon. I only mention this to give you seekers some hope. There are decent 1/4 to USB cables out there, but this just isn't it.
