(More customer reviews)It is recognized as soon as you install it. The software in the box is a trial. I think it works for 30 days or with a limit on file transfer speeds. I'd end up uninstalling it. You can also use it with Microsoft Bluetooth support but it works intermittently. Mostly of the times gets disconnected. You can also pay like $20-$30 for a registered Bluetooth Software but I prefer to buy the Brand name Bluetooth with original software if that's the case. There's no good free managing software for Bluetooth. Due to the limitations, it is unplugged at my desk all the time.
