(More customer reviews)I was looking for a sleek, lightweight notebook computer that I could plug in my Verizon PC Card for high speed Wireless Broadband access.
I was considering a Sony or Dell when I found the review of the Sharp M4000 notebook at cnet.com It was love at first sight, at under 4 lbs with a battery life of up to 5 hours. It's strikingly sleek brushed aluminum exterior with matching silver tone keys on it's full size keyboard, it's high resolution wide screen display, 80 gig drive and under 4 lb weight had me sold.
The few features that it lacks were not important to me such as bluetooth, DVD writer and firewire. Other than those options, the Sharp M4000 has it all while the other notebooks I was considering would have other compromises that did make a difference such as no built in PC card slot or less than full size keyboard. In addition, the Sharp M4000 has a larger display area than other computers in it's class with a price tag at least several hundred dollars less.
If you want a sleek lightweight full featured notebook, look no further than the Sharp M4000.
