SONY wanted $130 and when I opened the laptop to see what was involved, the connectors started breaking (cheap plastic). There was no way I would be able to put in a new keyboard internally. Found this on Amazon and gave it a try.
The design is nice- it is small, extremely light and fits on top of the laptop keyboard. The keys are better than SONY. Don't know how long it will last- it has only been a month of light use. So far very satisfied.
